Although the after-effects of the earthquate in New Zealand have ceased to be reported in the mainstream media, for many residents the horror of what they’ve experienced is still a living nightmare. My friend, Jackie Thomas, writes with typical good humour and wit, but the horror of what she and so many others are experiencing is evident.
